We have heard from Advanced Access clients scrambling to find a more personal and reliable real estate web design company. "Sites are down all over the country." Is your site down? Do you know how long your advanced access real estate web site will be down? Why is THEIR site up but yours is down?
Advanced Access has had a myriad of problems for the past 18 months. First with getting caught by yahoo for having questionable pages including agents links pages that AA "spins" the public into believing that you cant link to fellow agents (which we and others proved not to be true).
Now, wtihout warning, ALL agent and broker sites are down yet THEIR site is up.
They don't give a time and you cant get ahold of them. We found Advanced Access web site problems here and advanced access real estate web site problems
****UPDATE**** after 36 horus from the first report it seems sites are back up again. We give credit to Advanced Access for stepping up and getting things up for their clients.
However, we call on Advanced Access and others wtih the "big business" attitude toward the real estate web design industry to evolve. The times of just pumping out a product that doesnt fully support the real estate web stie community will be over by december 2007.
We emplore Advanced Access to take this as a warning sign so they can reflect on the way they represent us all. They have the means to have the right infrastructure so this never happens. To have email servers separate, redundant servers off site; basically all the things we have and hopefully others do too.
It seems Advanced Access "manages by objection" and is not looking out for real estate agents and brokers with the painstaking services it takes to truly support real estate agents and brokers so they can benefit from their real estate web sites.
We hope this is a wake up call that they have to be a leader not just a profit taker.
