Prudential and Yahoo Concerns in Real Estate Site Web Design, Agent

Real Estate Site Web Design Homepage: Real Estate Homepage

We have had real estate agents bring up Prudential and Yahoo and comments like my office manager says I don't need to worry about the internet, they have an inside relationship with Yahoo and I will get my leads from them.

We had another call from a clent saying hey, (agent's name)'s website is doing better than mine and they get a ton of leads and its because they went to our in-house prudential guru and he recommended so and so.

Well after we analyzed it, we found out whats going on.

Our observation is that we applaud prudential for getting it. However, comparing them to what SHOULD be the standard in real estate web site design they are not doing anything special or anything we haven't been telling you for years. We have always said is that our sites can have an agent competing with a broker on the internet and that we thought it was amazing that name brand national brokerages were not spending more money in making sure they entrenched themselves in top searches. Its a duty to be on the forefront of a national broker to ensure that they and their agents dont get shut out.

However, like the advanced access fiasco, some CEO's dont act till its overwhelmingly in thier favor to do so. Prudential's alliance with Yahoo is great and they are milking the connection but as we told someone today being related to Dan Marino doesn't mean you can play pro football.

What concerns us is comments by middle staffers and management telling agents that the agent's company website at prudential is good enough because of prudentials alliance with Yahoo. This is not true.

First lets look at the typical corporate website (prudential or otherwise) that is given to most agents. Its not a real site! the pages are not exclusively residnt to the agent's domain name. If you have to point or forward your domain name to a page extension its not real and search engines don't give full credit. That is what caused advanced access search engine problems.

Next is that you have nothing developing for yourself. The people that get sites of their own and have them professionally developed are walking into brokers and striking better employment terms. Why Because by having a developed website you have a working asset to bargain with.

Its like an established realtor of 15 years, they do deals without effort. Well in less than two years you can have a website that can outperform your brokers. Thats right, with us or someone at our level you can create an asset in your real estate web site.

Ask The Henderson Group of Destin Fl Real Estate. We have had our site a short while but this year during the toughest market ever we landed a $3.8M deal. This year we've done well when others have gotten out of the business. We have carried the production weight of our broker. They explain further; We do so well that if we didn't have such a great deal already it would be easy to name our price with another broker.

You don't have to use us, just get a site and work on it. In the next year put 15% of your budget toward reputable companies that will give you guarantees in writing and you will turn a website into a bargaining chip or a retirement fund (never sell your site by the way-broker the leads when you want to get out of the business and coach them on how to convert leads to sales).

Keep taking leads from the broker site but in a short time you will have your own.
