John is one of the principals and came to us just a few months ago. "The market is rough. We have been in the business for a long time and frankly this is our last resort in trying to get the kind of business we had." He was thinking maybe its time to think about other things. "Years ago we had a really good business, now with all that has happened we are at a crossroads."
"Although we have been spammed and cold called by a bunch of real estate web design people we found you from seeing many of your clients on the front page of google consistantly for Boca Raton but other areas around that we service." he also added; "it was the way you talked unlike the others, like you knew not only the web side of things but how to close real estate deals and what it was like to be a broker."
[Sidebar]Why is it different for a broker than an agent when it comes to a website? Because it needs to do more. Listings updated, changes due to new agent/ terminations, lead routing, following up on agents that got leads, teaching agents new techniques on how to close leads and get more listings, communicating to all employees (pdfs, newsletters, notices, etc) in a central place, etc. The list is extensive. Brokers have "staff" that try to do this on a manual level but its usually something that you pay a staff member for and they really aren't trained to do. You wont pay $1500 a month to get it done right but you do pay that now and get less. If your business was like a law firm you would see the billable hours to it and adjust it. But even as you read this you still wont do anything directly will you? After time with us you can get rid of your "inhouse expert" and about $2500 amonth and put it toward something that will earn its keep.....ok getting back to the "sidebar"
Above all, brokers need to to portray status; search engine positioning, functionality and asthetically. Clients that see an appealing site associate it with your business just like what you wear and drive. Search engine dominance is like seeing for sale signs in a neighborhood with most of them being from your company. It develops a sense that you might know what you are doing.
Next is top agent recruitment and retention. Just like prospective clients top agents want to be with a company that has status and will give them tools and avenues to better success in their already successful career. that others dont offer them. By having better leads, unique tools to manage their business and increase their closing ratio YOUR site becomes an asset by physically demonstrating your advantage when all other brokers use words and better splits.[end Sidbar]
"When they told us their philosophy (see sidebar) I saw a different world that no one else is talking about." They have been around to know that in a changing market you have to do the things to get through it not let it get through with your.
